When the fire pump control cabinet is installed in a dedicated fire pump control room, its protection level shall not be lower than IP30. When installed in the same space as a fire water pump, its protection level shall not be lower than IP55.
The fire pump control cabinet should be equipped with a mechanical emergency pump starting function, and it should be ensured that if a fault occurs in the control loop in the control cabinet, the fire pump will be started by a person with management authority. When the machinery is started in an emergency, the fire pump should be ensured to work normally within 5.0 minutes.
